While the rest of his high school graduating class is heading to the same old grind of college, skateboarder Eric Rivers (MIKE VOGEL) and his best friends, Dustin (ADAM BRODY), a goal-oriented workaholic, and misfit slacker Matt (VINCE VIELUF) have one last summer roadtrip together to follow their dream of getting noticed by the professional skateboarding world - and getting paid to skate.


When skating legend Jimmy Wilson's (JASON LONDON) skate demo tour hits town, the boys figure that as soon as he sees their fierce tricks, he'll sign them up for his renowned skate team immediately, right?


Unfortunately, the guys are intercepted by Jimmy's road manager (DAVE FOLEY) and they can't get their foot in the door, much less their boards. But they do get some free advice: keep skating, stay true to yourself, and stay in the game - if you're good, you'll get noticed.


Following their dream - and Jimmy's national tour - Eric, Dustin and Matt start their own skate team, reluctantly sponsored by Dustin and his college fund. After recruiting laid-back ladies man Sweet Lou (JOEY KERN) to join their crew and provide the wheels for their tour, team "Super Duper" launches the ride of their lives in an outrageous road trip from Chi-town to Santa Monica.


The professional scene doesn't exactly welcome "nobody" skaters, but these outsiders stick together through extreme misadventures. In their quest to go pro, they meet professional vert skating champions Bucky Lasek, Bob Burnquist and Pierre Luc Gagnon, skate pro Bam Margera and his crew Preston Lacy, Ehren "Danger" McGhehey and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, as well as sexy skate chick Jamie (JENNIFER MORRISON) as they grind handrails across America and force the skateboarding world to give 'em a piece of the action.

I paid attention to this movie only during the last bits... HAve to watch it again... grrr..... (again...outdated!!) Oh!! Loads of HOT chicks!!! ehheheh

What's it about? It takes some people years to fall in love at first sight... A LOT LIKE LOVE is a romantic comedy about destiny, connection and the frequently fuzzy line between chance friendships and happily ever after. A LOT LIKE LOVE traces the relationship of Oliver (ASHTON KUTCHER) and Emily (AMANDA PEET) who meet on a flight from Los Angeles to New York seven years ago - each of them declaring that they couldn't be more wrong for each other. Life keeps bringing them back together over the next seven years, but the timing never seems right. As they struggle with their different partners, careers and breakups, they turn from casual acquaintances into trusted friends who can say anything to one another. As they each search for love and a relationship that's not fated for disaster, it takes seven years for Oliver and Emily to figure out that maybe what they really have is something...a lot like love.

Well, to me, What attracted me to this movie is because it shows the changes of them growing up... How they get serious in life when there's no more playing around anymore.. and how their love is so strong even though in between those years there were a lot of conflicts... and bla bla bla.... hehehehe..
Go watch it lah!

This movie is the Bomb!! I know loads of you have watched it before but non of us knew that other people have watched it. I thought that no one watched it until my boyfriend brought up about the movie and we found out that most of our friends have watched it... It was out in 1993 and that time I watched it on LD..
Damn Oldskool right.. ehhehe...
I'm trying to find the movie but until now I cant find it anywhere..
